Episode 01: Going grey with Jaquie Brown and Lillian Grace
👩🦳Where are you on your ‘going grey’ journey?
In case you missed it, Episode 01 of Grey Areas went live last Thursday! (And on Friday, we were Number 1 across the New Zealand charts on Apple Podcasts!) I’d love for you to check it out.
Episode 01: Going grey with Jaquie Brown and Lillian Grace
In a culture obsessed with youth, what has it been like to undergo the ageing journey whilst being a familiar face on our screens? Jaquie Brown and I discuss our respective experiences of ageing in the public eye, as well as how this cultural space has shifted over recent years and the changes we hope to see in the coming decades.
We also meet Lillian Grace founder of figure.nz who talks about how her hair colour affected her presentation and sense of success in the business world.

In the next episode, I sit down with Dr Lara Briden for an introduction to menopause. I’m really looking forward to sharing that with you this Thursday, but before then…
👩🦳Where are you on your ‘going grey’ journey?
Not quite there yet...but am talking/thinking about it.
So much self worth can be in your hair...which is sad, and pressure. Its that attempt to still be youngish and noticed.
I can see how liberating it would be to just let it be.
My mum coloured her hair until she retired, and I always thought Id do the same...
Thanks for talking about this
