Episode 03: Menopause stories with Miriama Kamo and Robyn Malcolm
🥵 51% of the population will experience it, so let's share some stories!
Thank you for all your feedback on the podcast so far. I can’t tell you what it means to hear how much these conversations are helping people.
While we're on the topic of menopause, two of my friends, Miriama Kamo and Robyn Malcolm, join me to swap personal stories from this season of life in perimenopause and menopause - and how each of these wāhine toa are navigating their way through it.
There's something special about knowing we're not in this alone.
Miriama Kamo (Ngāi Tahu/Ngāti Mutunga) is a TVNZ journalist, children's author and television presenter. She currently presents on Māori current affairs programme Marae and TVNZ's Sunday.
Robyn Malcolm is an actress, whose career has spanned many decades. She is probably best known for six seasons of playing Cheryl West in the television series Outrageous Fortune. She also has a fun line of undies, designed, produced, and manufactured by a team of women right here in New Zealand using ethically sourced, sustainable fabric, and water-based inks.

P.S. The Instagram Live chat scheduled with Lara Briden (guest of Episode 02: Menopause 101) has been postponed to Wednesday, 30 March at 7pm. (Thanks, Omicron!) I’ll be asking her your questions so drop them in the comments below!
